Steve Johnson in the Tribune writes of a contest to pick the best world-changing idea submitted by an ordinary Jane or Joe. Fun procrastination; I thought some of them were too general, but liked "Personal Money Management," "Medicare as Single-Payer Pilot" and "Farm Produce Distribution Network," which I thought were well thought through, targeted a specific problem, and were of manageable size. You can vote at SinceSlicedBread.com.
